Kittens, Angels and Prim - Oh My!
Who: Prim and Raphael
When: November 14th - after dark
Where: Between the buildings, on her way home
Summary: Prim stays out trying to bring a stray cat to safety. Ends up in trouble - gets rescued by Raphael.
Warnings: Minor in danger? Will update if needed.
"Here kitty," Prim whispered, reaching out her hands. The animal watched her warily from its hiding spot, half reaching out a paw in warning, hissing faintly. Prim didn't move, though, didn't respond - and half a moment later it let its paw drop. It was the kitten's turn to stay still, as Prim reached out to scoop her hands beneath its arms. It mewled faintly, fidgeting uncertainly.
The warning sirens made it howl, biting at her hand and diving towards the ground. It ran towards the alley, and Prim followed. If she was quick, she was certain she could catch it and bring it to the safety of indoors. ...What was the worst that could happen? Even if she died... Even if she died, it wouldn't make a difference. Besides, she was a teen titan.
She didn't notice when the darkness fell, though. Until the first growl.

Tonight, he found Prim outside, and flew to her location. With the winter coming it seemed Darkness was falling harder and faster, and he flew to her location, appearing between her and the monster with a flutter of wings.
For the moment the archangel's appearance alone was enough to ward off danger.
"Hell Prim."

The kitten.
"There was a kitten," she whispered.
ooc: ...Was that supposed to be "hello?" Or...?

"Attempt to coax him out, since he is so important to you." It's gentle - Raphael is fond of animals, most angels are, and he dislikes their lack of protection from the Darkness.
((OOC: Yep. My key O was sticking a little.))

The kitten poked its head out, just a little. She smiled at it.

The monster edged closer, though still out of Prim's sight, and Raphael flicked a couple fingers, ripping deeply into it's side. It growled but retreated to a more safe distance.
"I think he trusts you."

The lion-creature was creeping closer again. Raphael would smite it the second it grew too close.

"Peeta and Rue, too."

"Do you have supplies to take care of him at home?"

[He raises a hand, and they fly, landing inside the Underground Mall. It's instant, less than a blink. And probably a little disorientating for Prim. Most humans don't see to find it pleasant.]

Better?

[He smiles gently, laying his hand lightly on her back and leading her to one of the near-by pet stores.]
Do you want to get a collar for him too?

[He just snags a cart as they walk by. Donnie know how this shopping thing works.]

I guess that's good...

Raphael wheels the cart towards collars.]
Why not pick out one you like?

[He reaches over and touches two fingers to her forehead and they are standing in her apartment, again with a faint flutter of wings.]
Here we are.

[He'll be flying out - or so it seems - he's actually going to slip invisible and make sure she's all right.]
