Summary: A little after Amy expresses her fears about her father's court hearing, Kanaya offers reassurance. They decide to meet up.

[It doesn't take long after the conversation for Amy to make her way to the aforementioned tea shop. Dressed in a simple black dress with an elaborate print, paired with simple lace-up brown boots, Amy looked like she fit perfectly amidst the tea shop's decor. She looks around for her acquaintance. It shouldn't be hard for her to find a girl with shining white skin and horns.]

[It's probably much easier for Amy to find Kanaya than for Kanaya to find Amy. She's gotten to the point where all humans don't look the same, not counting the ones she was already perfectly capable of recognizing. But maybe she should have asked what her friend is supposed to look like in turn? That might have made it easier.

Of course it's...really hard to miss Kanaya, in her overly fancy red dress, and the glowing, even with her face buried in a trashy vampire novel of the grocery store variety. She looks like she'd be more at home at some kind of fashion show.]

[And upon noticing the glowing and her horns, Amy immediately makes a beeline for her table. She likes what the other girl is wearing-- it's a far cry from something the other "modern" girls would wear. It's got class.]

Mademoiselle Kanaya, I am I correct? I am Amy Sorel, your acquaintance over the network.

[Kanaya prides herself on always dressing with class. And thus looking wildly more formal and maybe rather silly in the process.

Also whoops she just got busted with a trashy vampire novel, hastily stuffing that back into her sylladex.]

I am Kanaya Maryam, yes. It's nice to finally meet you in person. [She smiles widely, her fangs digging a little into her lower lip, painted careful green.] Please feel free to have a seat and order anything you want, I can cover it for you.

[Amy wasn't very aware of these trashy vampire novels, save for the fact that girls all over her area wanted to read them. She had never seen green lipstick before. It was... oddly alluring.]

Is that alright?

[She settles down into her seat.]

Yes of course. [She's gleaned, from human TV, that friends do that. Trolls would not be so generous...but she doesn't need to buy food for more than Jade, so there's money to spare.] You don't have to worry about it. I would not want to add to your problems.
