His vision cleared long enough to see someone level a gun at Magneto. Instead of screaming a warning, Kevin threw himself into the pile at the doorway and grabbed the speedster. Something burned into his side, but everything else ached so much he barely noticed it.

The speedster tried to move, but couldn't in time to avoid being shot. Blood spattered all over Kevin, the Void and Magneto.

He tried to push himself up, but his body wouldn't respond. However, he got close enough to grab the Void's gun and shot at whoever was shooting. At least in that general direction. Why was his vision so weird?
