But all I’ve ever learned from love was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you

Who: Marco [personal profile] guerrilla_morph  and Visser One [personal profile] thefourteenth
When: May 13th, MOTHER'S DAY
Where: The Towers, on the stairwell
Summary: The worst family reunion ever
Warnings: Family angst, and the fact that this is Marco and Visser One we are talking about here. (Eva can come too.)

Marco is determined to change rooms soon enough. Seriously, climbing up and down the stairs on the fifth floor is getting really annoying. He doesn't even know how people deal with being on the twelfth floor. Teleportation, perhaps? Maybe there should be a teleportation pad in the main floor, like in Star Trek.

Now, one can be asking, "But Marco, why can't you just open a window and fly out as a bird?"

Well, he did that. Actually that's his usual method of travel. But people are going to stare at a kid who is barefoot and is wearing only bike shorts. So he has to at least go out the normal human way - the usual method of storing clothes in some safe place is still out of the question, since there's so much of this place he doesn't know he just doesn't risk loosing his precious, few clothes over.

So down the stairs he goes, skipping two at a time due to his impatience. He can hear someone else approaching him, but he keeps his head down. He's still trying to keep a low profile, despite his urgent need for some kind of allies.

Even if they aren't the Animorphs.

So by keeping his head down, he doesn't even notice the most important person of his life until it is too late for him to backpedal.
