[As much as Jesse was being smarmy to him since he arrived, there was absolutely no way Walt would let Jesse die on him. He has only joined SERO a week ago, but he made sure to finagle a cure out of someone in R&D. He grabbed a new syringe on his way out. He had worked with syringes in his own R&D days, but never injecting it into a human being--just a GCMS. He supposed there was a first time for everything.
He had hurried over to the house as soon as he could. He found the door unlocked and went inside. Jesse wasn't on the couch, so he went towards the bedroom, finding an absolutely pitiable Jesse on the bed.
He came over and kneeled down next to him, shaking him roughly.]
Jesse. Jesse. I have it. I have the cure.
[Walt looks down at the syringe and the vial. Almost a year ago, he wouldn't have been able to do this, but the chemo had gotten him used to needles. Not to mention seeing cold-blood murder made needles seem like child's play.

He shook Jesse again for good measure.]
