Funny, where the Hulk had been angry before, having a knife stuck in his eye had ratcheted him up to pure fury. He turned on the girl, ready to hurl himself at her like a missile, when something burned along his nerves. It was worse than the flowers that had confused him earlier and he took one slow, stumbling step toward her, then another before he put his head down as though gathering himself for some great effort.
[ooc: I checked that question out in Ino's canon context. A quick search brings a consensus from people familiar with the canon that while he's not immune, it's probably still a no. If she were trying to influence his mood a la Loki's glowstick of destiny, she'd have a better chance than she will have trying to control his body. However, I'm willing to let it slow him down while he fights it off, hopefully giving her a chance to exhibit a sense of self-preservation and run.]
