[Ahh, so this is his apartment. Now she has a better handle on the situation, Mia can't help but feel grateful to him for everything he must have done for Maya.]

Thank you. Not just for me, for Maya too. I'm glad you two found each other, it felt like the loneliest place in the world when I didn't know a soul here. I still can't believe that there are so many people from home who were taken here.

[He looks better now, less stunned and knocked for six by everything. She doesn't blame him, she's still a little stunned herself by everything. But it's going to be okay now, they're both here and that's what matters.

There's so much she's going to have to figure out; she'll need to find out exactly what's happening in this city, find work, get some more clothes... it's a daunting task, but one she's looking forward to. ]

It won't be rent free for long, I'll try and find work by the end of the week. I guess a place like this is crying out for lawyers, right?
It's going to be nice to get back to work myself instead of having to watch from the sidelines.

[She picks up her coffee and takes another sip, before changing her tack.]

So come on, you're holding out on me. I want to know everything, what have you been doing with yourself since you woke up? Did Grossberg take you back or did you set up on your own? And what have you been doing here, you must have made a name for yourself, knowing you.

[It's presumptuous of her to assume he went back to the law, but she can't imagine him doing anything else. He's Diego Armando after all, he was the best.]
