Jake tugs at the collar of his shirt once Jane finishes up. The tie isn't overly tight or anything of the sort, but boy does it feel a little harder to breathe all of the sudden. It's a good thing that Dirk and his AR are there to ramble on inanely at the moment.

Once Jane has skipped off, Jake twists his neck so he can look himself over, and he looks about as ready as he thinks he can be for something like this, considering he's not much of a formal occasion kind of guy.

"I'm sure people will manage to stay on their feet just fine." Jane can fluff up his ego all she wants, because Jake will be there to tear him down whenever possible.

He walks towards the door where everyone is gathered around the time Roxy shows back up.
