She’s a bitter bit of history, and you’re her lamb to slaughter,
Who: Visser One & Sam Merlotte
When: Tuesday morning
Where: nearish Merlottes
Summary: Sam has something to say to this alien bitch.
Warnings: extreme feels, general terribleness, language.
[The unusual morning was predated by an unusual night: being kept late at the office turned into leaving much later than normal, which led to her rushing home without a stop at the House first. It had been nearly two days without feeding; by morning, the Kandrona hunger is setting in as weakness in her limbs, exhaustion lidding her eyes, and frayed nerves that would have her snapping at everyone at work.
Instead of going through another ten hours without sustenance, Edriss gets up at first light. She needs to stop at the House and feed before work, so leaves her apartment a mere half hour after sirens. The route to the House (and the small Yeerk Pool inside) takes her fairly close to Merlotte's pretty soon after their third shift ends, but Edriss doesn't remember that right now. She's distracted and sloppy, forgetting the enemy she probably made when she spoke to Lucifer and cutting corners through narrow alleys.]
