Open Forum Meeting at the Newcomer Community Center
Who: The head committee of the Newcomer Political Party, ALL NEWCOMERS, and some NPC security guards.
When: July 17th, 12:00pm.
Where: The Newcomer Community Center
Summary: An OPEN MEETING is being held to discuss problems and ideas dealing with Newcomers, the city, and other problems.
Warnings: Political shenanigans. There should not be any other warnings beyond possible swearing, and there will probably be mentions of the Newcomer Hunt.
There were chairs for everyone who wanted to sit down, a podium in the center where each Newcomer could come and state their case, and what they wanted to be done, with the committee in front of them, all of them sitting at the table in the front. The camera crew was allowed space in the back to record everything, like usual.
Raul Creed would be keeping this meeting on topic and in order as best he could; this was not the time for anything outside of ordinary to happen.
OOC: Okay guys, here’s how it’s going to go. As you can see, there are sections in this log post again, where your character should respond to. For the people who are on the NPP head committee, just respond to the first section so that everyone can know who is on the board as of this moment, and what their occupation is. No one else should reply to this section.
Second section is for everyone else. This is where you bring up problems, where you can complain about anything having to do with Newcomers, the port, or the companies. Be warned, if you decide to come up and gripe about the companies without any ideas on how to fix things, Raul Creed is going to try to get the meeting back on track. This will involve him asking your character to sit down or leave. We're looking for problems and ideas, here; we already know there are problems, but they can't get fixed if all you do is complain. This is the discussion place. Your character comes up to the podium, says their piece, and then there is a big discussion about this.
The third section is for coming up with ideas to help out around the city, like helping the poorer sectors, ways to get more involved with the political situation with the NPP, and ideas for fundraisers to help bring money into the groups. We're also looking for things for the community center; things like groups, classes, anything that people might need a place to go. Whatever your character brings up will be added to the list at the bottom of this post.
All NPP board members are welcome to reply to any of the requests or to the damage reports. Everyone is also highly encouraged to use our fourth section, with character reactions to what is being said, to talk to other characters and get a feel for what other people might be thinking and feeling. Don't forget to tag your character in.

5. END RESULT
The end result of this can be anything! All ideas will be listened to, and worked out.
