And if Xemnas had known, why would he let all of his comrades die? Where does Xigbar fit into all of this?

He doesn't have time to go over everything. Flanked by two enemies - they had always been enemies, he tells himself - he knows he has little chance of sounding the alarm or even attempting to explain all of this to the other Nobodies. And even if they were told, how many would believe him? How many would choose to aid him instead of staying with Xemnas?
