[Mia takes her seat and pours herself a glass of orange juice. Maybe the presents are overkill, but she made a promise to herself that she was going to make up for as much lost time as she could, and that included lost birthdays and presents.]

Everything's taken care of, I talked to the kitchen and they know what time we're coming so they'll already be working on everyone's orders when we get there so we don't have to worry about rushing to make it home before dark. All we need to do is make sure we're on time.
