How do women work?
Who: Ellen Harvelle and John Winchester
When: Sunday lunch
Where: Bar. Somewhere.
Summary: John needs help. Ellen is helpful.
Warnings: It's John Winchester. Ellen's not much better.
Ellen shoved open the door to the bar and ignored the jerk coming out. She missed the shoulder check and wandered in.
Her eyes adjusted to the lack of light in the bar and found John back in a corner. He'd sounded like he really needed to talk. So, here she was.
Bill had been dead twenty years. Time for her to stop blaming him. Here, there wasn't time for that.
"Just bring me a soda." She asked the waitress. "And whatever salad you've got." She looked across at John. "What's goin' on?"
