He's watching her as she concentrates for a moment, even managing to get the attention of one of the waitresses, waving at her and grinning, mouthing a quick Fries, please and glancing to Rose, earning a wink and a mouthed 'Course before she set to work. With that settled, he's turning back to Rose, then, watching as she reads into the coin, concentrating for a moment more before finally looking up at him, telling him what she saw.

He has to hide a quick grin behind his mug as he takes another sip of the cooling tea in front of him before reaching back to take the coin out of her hand, flipping it up in the air with a flick of his fingers and catching it just as deftly before tucking it right into his pocket.

"Right then! You've mastered coins and keys so far, we're gonna practice on books later, so... how about a tougher one, hm? A challenge?" he tucks his lips into his mouth in order to hide his grin a bit, holding his hand out and wiggling his fingers at her. "Try me."
