Dr. Orpheus had been on the lookout for a few ingredients that couldn't be found in the spice aisle of the local grocery store. Most of his work called upon his internal powers. No need for eye of newt there. However, he found his clients were more satisfied when he could provide a physical sign of his protection spells and the like. If it led to repeat business, who was he to deny them a few white candles or bundles of herbs? However, just because he was doing it for their benefit didn't mean that he wanted to use sub-par materials.

He was quite pleased when he discovered the name of a new magic shop that must have opened in the city since the last time he had needed to seek out such ingredients.

He was less pleased when he stepped inside the shop and saw who was there to greet him.
