oh good, I'm not the only latecomer sob. 10am

It was always interesting to learn more about the magic of other worlds. Each world had its own impressive background to magic use, as well as the various trappings and foci for spells. Even the flavour of magic worked could differ wildly between locations, not to mention often within the same world... he couldn't count the number of times he'd come away with new insights after learning about a particularly vibrant culture's takes on such things.

Spying a shop for magic was intriguing enough and he pushed open the door, peering inside. His first instinct was to inhale deeply, gathering the scent of herbs and dried or preserved curios. The smells that assailed his nose were varied and he nodded a bit. They certainly were covering all their bases. Perhaps this place serviced the many worlds of sorcerers there could very well be in the Port.

His eyes fell on the young man working on a display and he nodded politely, scanning the amulets carefully. He could feel the prickings of magic at the back of his neck, but that would be nothing new in a place like this. Obviously they were magical. What nature of magic was difficult to determine at a glance.

With Philbrizzo addressing him he bowed his head slightly in acknowledgment. "I was curious so I thought perhaps I'd investigate the nature of this particular shop," Xehanort replied pleasantly. "I do have an interest in magical affairs, and finding a location like this that clearly caters to sorcerers of multiple worlds is quite a pleasant surprise."
