The dog inhaled deeply, when Meg rounded the corner -- and she looked up, with blood red eyes boring holes into the demon. She was under orders not to attack unless otherwise provoked -- and while the scent of Meg was burned into her memory forever, Growley did not move toward Meg.

Instead, she huffed slightly and pushed herself up to shake the candy corn off of her fur to glance over her shoulder, toward the manor. She then resettled herself to stare imploringly at Meg before a single thought appeared in Meg's head. It was quiet, almost forced -- mostly because the Hellhound wasn't putting much thought into it. It was almost unintentional, a message conveyed by her body language.

She, like her master, was not afraid of Meg. But she, unlike her master, would certainly fluff her fur to protect the people she liked.

Leave Crowley alone.
