Who: Kurt, Rachel and Finn
When: Right after this horrible fiasco.
Where: The BC.
Summary: Rachel and Finn find Kurt on the kitchen floor. Things progress from there.
Warnings: Angst TURNED UP TO ELEVEN.
Kurt wasn't sure if hours had passed or days, but he didn't move from the kitchen floor. He sat there curled up--blood started caking on his hands, congealed and sticky--surrounded by shards of broken china, numb and freezing.
With every second that passed, marked by the ticking of the clock above the stove (he remembered hanging it there, standing on a chair while Blaine held onto his waist to keep him from falling, and then he had fallen on purpose just to land in his arms), he waited to wake up-- Because that hadn't happened. He'd never found the box, he'd never confronted Blaine about it, Blaine hadn't hurt him, Blaine hadn't left.
It was just a bad nightmare. He had those all the time. All he had to do was wake up.
Any minute now.
