"No, I know--it won't matter. I know he cares." Jane didn't take Jesse's nature for granted--she appreciated the way he treated her. It was just something she wasn't used to. Jane didn't exactly have many positive experiences with past relationships to draw on. She was always preparing herself for shit to go south, and sometimes it came out how she didn't intend it to.

"I just know he's been here for a while. I don't know how long, but I don't intend on putting whatever he has happening on hold. I just don't want him worrying too much. I don't know." Jane shrugged and watched Lisbeth toss her can into the mostly full recycling bin.

"On a soda kick?" She asked, raising a brow and nodding towards the bin.
