Who: Naruto (senjulegacy) and Ino (blondejokes)
When: Nov 1st.
Where: Ino's apartment.
Summary: With the dead showing up in every other reflective surface, Naruto checks to make sure Ino is okay.
Warnings: Naruto and Ino. Possibly some disturbing imagery.
It doesn't take Naruto too long to understand that because he's been seeing the dead on every other reflective surface, and because Sasuke has been seeing the same, that there is a strong chance Ino is also going through hell right now. Once the thought hits him, he makes his way to her place in a clumsy rush of worry. He doesn't bother to hide the urgency in his motions as he navigates by roofs overtop of the city.
He counts the seconds in his head, tries not to think about Asuma-- What that might do to her because it won't, because she's tough as hell, but oh, it would hurt seeing him like that. Naruto knows this. He doesn't look down at the puddles of water below on the sidewalk, doesn't pause at the flashes of whatever in the windows just beneath him.
He does make the mistake of trying to get in via Ino's window as opposed to her door. An old habit, hard to break and a mistake because he catches sight of her in the reflected glass, blond hair, bright eyes with a great hole in her cheek and the edge of her spinal cord sticking out of her neck.
So much to that Naruto recoils from the window ledge in his horror. Somehow he manages not to break any limbs in the consequent fall, heart hammering in his chest. That wasn't her. So then.
So then. Okay, maybe he knocks on her door a little too loudly, a bit too insistently after that.
"Ino! Hey, yo, open up! INOOOOO. C'mon, it's Naruto!"
But at least he doesn't sound as alarmed as he feels?
