By that point, Tim was debating with himself whether he should stitch up, or keep some gauze on it. But he had enough time to think about it, as he keeps the gauze over it to see if it'll stop bleeding with pressure. It gives him time to listen to Blaine, and to watch him, and what he's doing. He wasn't the first person who had to struggle with this, this secret identity thing.

It meant putting trust in a person's hands; and not just trust from you. You were trusting him not to betray all of them, which could happen. It wasn't a decision that you took lightly.
