Frau wouldn't have been much more comfortable talking about his patrols. Just like the scythe, that information would need to be strained down to just the bare minimum. Revealing the full truth would not be a good idea. The fact that he wasn't alive had become more common knowledge even though it wasn't supposed to be. The fact that his scythe was incredibly dangerous even to him was known by a few people. Frau did not want the knowledge that he went around at night consuming souls to become very well known.
