The moment Teito arrived at his side the world seemed to light up for Frau. He knew Teito was there almost instantly, though he struggled to pull himself out of the exhausted stupor he was in to respond. There was no way he could be wrong, and yet... how could Teito be here? Ayanami had taken him.

Frau's eyes snapped open and his fingers curled around Teito's arm, squeezing tight as he suddenly sat up. For a long time he just stared, taking Teito in. He really was here next to him. After the relief replaced his earlier adrenaline though, Frau couldn't hold himself up. He couldn't even stay awake. Slowly, his fingers loosened on Teito's arm and he slumped back to the ground, unconscious once more.
