Wit, manner and charm. Harry actually starts laughing when she tosses the pun at him, because he practically set himself up for that. Usually, he's the one making awful jokes, but points to her for using the set-up to her advantage. "Why, Ella!" He chuckles, and concedes defeat for that round. "I think you might be right."

That's the part that has him hung up. The competition on an island community is brutal; not that he doesn't think he could elbow his way in and set something up. Unlike Marcone, he's not a titan of overt charm. He's got a mouth that likes to run off and do sarcastic cartwheels and the nature of a hedgehog: all prickles, even when he'd like to be close.

What he's got is a little something different. But anyways: "If I couldn't handle a joke, I wouldn't dish them out. But anyways, what's on your mind, Ella?"
