'Bed rest' had only served to enhance the tensions between himself and his roommate, and Harry had taken to open defiance of regulation in response.

Using the walls and doorways as a makeshift crutch, he'd begun to navigate the apartment without collapsing within a few feet - his recovery was excellent, though the damage to his ribs had left him grumpy and feverish. Unwilling and uncomfortable with being tended to anymore, he was up and fighting that day.

"I don't need a babysitter," Harry protested. Again. For what was probably the umpteenth time, as though he was trying to make up for his earlier, vulnerable state by really getting under Marcone's skin. "I'll be fine here, just go do your - carjacking."
