You think you know fashion, well fashion's a stranger
Who: Kanaya Maryam and Terezi Pyrope
When: Valentine's Day, say morning?
Where: Various clothing stores and/or the mall
Summary: Kanaya attempts to helpfully rectify Terezi's problem with fashion.
Warnings: Lots and lots of clashing colors.
Kanaya had long ago decided that she was going to have to do something about Terezi. At home, on Alternia, or in the Veil, there hadn't really been much cause or concern for what her clothes looked like. But there was precedent now. THey'd moved to a new place, and new cultures demanded at least some leeway and attempts at assimilation, surely?
She didn't actually care about that, but anything to get Terezi to wear something that wasn't teal clashing with red. She'd make her move under the guise of a concerned overture, perhaps a way for them to bridge the gap that was…the awkwardness of Vriska's death. If it was a day for showing how much you cared, well, then she was pretty sure she could get away with it.
How hard could convincing a blind girl to wear decent clothing be? Not that hardly, surely.
That didn't stop her from fidgeting a bit with her skirt on the Striders' doorstep. Terezi was tricky, and Kanaya would have to be at the top of her game to deal with her.
