City Sidewalks, Busy Sidewalks
Who: Master Eraqus and...Xemnas
When: 12.17.12
Where: Somewhere where there's shopping.
Summary: Two words: Christmas. Shopping.
Warnings: I don't know. Mild spoilerz?
Christmas was coming.
It was a time during the winter season that he did not care about. Previous experiences outside of the Port could not compare to the madness of rampant mistletoe and other miscellaneous yet aptly-themed issues faced elsewhere. At the same time, the hectic holiday rush did have its moments of abnormality. The commotion on the twelfth day presented a challenge for most; everything was handled accordingly. Trying to figure out which was worse, however, was something left for those who felt the need to do so.
A week was spent facing the consequences within the corporation along with watching both their affiliates and the opposing faction. Now there was a week to...unwind, more or less, from work-related stress. Of course, Xemnas was never one to show any signs of frazzled weariness. The stoic facade barely changed at all. Still, there were suggestions made. They had nothing to do with the corporation or anything else of importance he was involved in, and as much as he felt it unnecessary he decided to take some time to change his routine. In fact, he did what "normal" human beings were doing presently.
He went shopping.
Or, to be precise, more of an attempt at shopping. The very thought of looking over all or any items for sale in person was...different. The last time he did this was almost two years ago, when Xigbar dragged him out to look for new clothing. And the Nobody found that the shopping experience was much like the idea of running the corporation:
It was easier sending someone else out to do the job for him.
