[The end of the this past year at Siren's Pull kind of sucked as far as Jo was concerned. Really sucked, actually. But things were easing up and getting better and she wasn't waking up in the middle of the night with nightmares anymore, so all things considered, better. But it was New Years, which meant some traditions needed to be upheld.
One of which included alcohol. Lots and lots of it.
Once locked up after dark, all safe and sound from whatever monsters were out running about, Jo brought out the drinks. And the tapes. And maybe she was ready to actually have fun again. Or at least relax. And after a bottle of champagne she's definitely relaxed. How long until midnight, again? Does the ball even drop in Siren's Port? Did she even care?]
What do you mean they don't have a countdown? Do we actually have to watch the clock?
