She looks at Raphael, then back to Balthazar, then shrugs. In her neighborhood, it's not uncommon to find groups of young people forming families as they have nothing else, there isn't much difference. "Daddy says the new people hurt the island. It's a familiar story with many - those who are Newcomers live on the island long enough to pass themselves off as Outsiders, those from the planet instead of a different world altogether. It makes their families' lives easier.
