She's got a smile it seems to me
Who: John Winchester, Anya Lensherr, and Magneto
What: A few awkward secrets come out
When: Tuesday
Where: John's old apartment
Warnings: Winchesters
[So, everyone's getting the hell out of Dodge. It's about damn time they can, too, things've been going to shit for far too long. Since the core exploded, John's been trying to hole up in the apartment he had while he and Mary were separated. His landlady, an sweet, old, native, let him keep it. He's not sure why, but he has a feeling she knows what's going to happen next.
The power fluxes near to core were too intense for him to stay, anyway. When it'd make his power go haywire, he felt like he could void out half a block. No, better to stay out of the action, where he's goddamn normal sized.
He's been calling friends and acquaintances nonstop, getting last favors and goodbyes before he (hopefully) flees for good. He has more than he realized, and for a moment there he has to smile. It's gone though, when the riots outside get a little too loud to ignore. There's one person, though, that he doesn't just want to leave with a goodbye. As far as he can tell, Maddy has no one here. Least he and Mary can do is take her with them.
He calls her Tuesday morning, asks her to meet him at the old apartment. He worries for about half a second about her getting through the city, but she's a tough girl. She'll be fine.]
