Frau lifted his eyebrows slightly at her going out to dinner with someone she didn't know. Then again, maybe it wasn't that surprising. She was out with him, and there was no way she knew all that much about him. Hopefully she wasn't about to get herself into trouble.

He considered her question for a moment, but shook his head.

"I doubt it. I've had zaiphon since I was a kid. If newcomers here have a special power, I'd assume that means they gain it while they're here."

He'd never heard about special powers suddenly being gained, but that didn't mean it wasn't true.
