To be fair, rolling in the mud sounded like a perfectly normal pasttime, and was on several planets in the Gnorish system. But the TARDIS refrained from saying so, instead letting Hattie lead her out of the bath and into the basement, where the ship was, as expected, entirely enthralled by the sheer amount of stuff.
Which she immediately began looking through.
"Oh, this should do nicely," the ship babbled to herself, arms covered in wire as she inspected pieces of metal, trying to fit some of them together, twisting and turning them as though they were on hinges. At one point she laid out a bunch of materials on the floor and crouched over them, arms outstretched as though trying to draw what she wanted overtop the mishmash of metal. "Really, all these materials and you just have them lying about your basement? What a silly thing to do."
