The Master slid into the bar, inhaling the myriad smells with a long, drawn-out sniff or two. There were calories here, of many sorts. Beer. Fried food. People. His body screamed for them. It never really stopped, no matter how much he ate.
Oh, but today that would have to wait. Today he was here to make friends. At least until he got whatever fool had actually called him here someplace a little less crowded.
He scanned the room with keen eyes, already feeling his patience slip... and then stiffened, his hairs nearly standing on end and his skin prickling as he sensed something familiar.
The Master didn't often feel as if someone had walked over his grave, but surely that must be happening now.
