Castiel was about to argue that Crowley had been the one who'd just pinned Castiel to the wall, but he was distracted by Crowley's healing of the puppy. A tentative extension of his grace to check on the created showed it was breathing easily and seemed to have nothing pressingly wrong with it, so Castiel relaxed slightly.
