[Why was it that he got the one dog, on the entire damned island, that was immune to him, but ate five times as much as he did? The damned puppy - who had a name but he felt like an idiot using it - had been out of food again and it'd taken a long walk to Sector 7 to get the food (because, only the best for her!) and then a longer walk back, carrying the food.
He should have taken the subway, but he was a bit frazzled by his powers tonight and didn't want to run the risk of a crowd. Anyway... he was fine. He had his gloves stuff in his pockets and he was carrying the pack over one shoulder. Stepping around a corner, he cursed. Mutates. Just... great. Just what he needed.
