Lois glanced in the direction of that voice, and immediately smiled. Definitely the other boy at Thanksgiving. She headed over without hesitation.

"Hi, Tim." When she reached his table, she set her pastries down and peered inside to pick out a maple donut. Taking a bite, Lois returned her attention to the boy and shook her head. "Seriously, just Lois. You're practically family."

Taking a sip of her coffee, she glanced around. The coffee shop was as busy as ever, and-- well, this was one of Bruce's kids. More than just being one of Bruce's kids, he looked a little... pale. Not the kind of pale that would come from never seeing daylight or having naturally alabaster skin. Something was up; the kid needed to talk. Well, if anyone understood about difficult parents, it was Lois. "Do you want to stay here, or should we take a hike?"
