Summary: A night to mingle at Merlotte's~ Good food, good drink, good music and good people await.
Warnings: idk. This is just a MINGLE POST, full o' action tags. Tag around, baby, and thread-hopping is ~highly encouraged~ There will be bouncers at the door checking ages. Characters 17+ can buy drinks; characters 13-16 will be hand-stamped to show they can't purchase or drink alcohol; characters 12 and under will only be let in with a guardian.

It...is a long story. Though I am a god, and thus I cannot be a minor.

Are they allowing you to imbibe alcohol?

Oh. I see. A real god huh?

Um, yes. I can. Why?

Yes. The Norse God of Fun- it's a working title.

[He considers] Well, I thought such things were harmful to ah- non humans.

Danny chuckled nervously. "Well...it can be bad for anyone if they have too much. I try not to drink much alcohol. That's why I get soda." Speaking of soda, here came Danny's cola.

[doeswhathewants]

"Not too bad, I should think they just sleep off the excess alcohol," Loki pursed his mouth, faintly considering. That was what happened back in Asgard, after all. "Ah! Are you having the Dew of Mountains? It is quite delicious, beguilingly so." That was what Loki was drinking, at least.

[rhythminmysoul]

"Oh no. Too much sugar and caffeeine for me. I'm having a regular Coke. Want to try it?" He held out his Coke to Loki with a smile.

He frowned slightly, "But I was told that Coke is bad. And one ought to just say no to it."

[rhythminmysoul]

"What? But it's just soda. How could it be bad?"

[doeswhathewants]

"I am not entirely sure," Loki frowned slightly. "But it was one of the drugs that a large purple dinosaur on television informed me that I ought to say no to."

[rhythminmysoul]

"Oh! N-No! There is the soda, Coke Cola and then there is the drug. They are different, I promise!" He's heard of the other drug in passing conversation. Though he has no idea about how the two were connected, once upon a time.

"Oh," He grins. "How embarrassing on my part. I- ah- I'm not from Midgard so these sorts of things are foreign to me."

[rhythminmysoul]

"That's okay. I could have explained it better. So, want to try my soda?" He held out the drink to Loki with a happy smile.

[doeswhathewants]

"I would, thank you," Loki took the drink and gave it an experimental sip, offering it back to Danny with a grin, "That is rather good. So many different flavors of things they have on Midgard, it is rather humbling."

[rhythminmysoul]

"Isn't it great? What kind of foods have you tried yet? We should go out and eat at some restaurants sometime. Let you taste all sorts of different foods."

[doeswhathewants]

"The elixir of the Red Bull and the M and M's are my favorite by far. Though now I have been instructed to eat more healthy by Michael," Loki rolls his eyes. "Ah that does sound delightful. It has been quite some time since I have indulged in Midgardian cuisine aside from what my roommate cooks. She's Japanese and rather good with food."

"It will be fun~! We can try a bunch of different things together. I hear there are really good French restaurants in town too. We can try one of those first?"

[doeswhathewants]

"I spent a year in France before coming here," Loki mused. "That would be interesting, to see other people's interpretation of what French cuisine is like." Not that he'd subsisted on anything that anyone would call cuisine.

[rhythminmysoul]

"Then we'll do it! What kinds of food haven't you tried yet? We can visit those type restaurants too!" This was seemingly going to blossom into a wonderful friendship.

[doeswhathewants]

"Well, I am not entirely sure," Loki scrunched up his nose in thought, "What other sorts of foods are there?" He rather liked Danny, and it greatly amused Loki that they were bonding over food when it was such a bonding mechanism in Asgard that Loki never took great pleasure or part of.

"Lots. There is Mexican food, American food, Chinese, Japanese, and lots others. I personally like fish dishes." He smiled wide and felt himself getting even more hungry.

[doeswhathewants]

"Then we shall try them all! I had not realized Midgard- ah- Earth was so varied in that sort of thing," Loki rather wished they had anthropomorphic cats on his world, now. Perhaps he would look into that.

"This is going to be so much fun! We'll eat all of the food and I think you'll love it." The cat was so happy to have made another friend. The more friends he had the better.
