[She laughs and motions for Ella to get closer, both to dance with her and hear her better.]

So what's up?

[ Ella laughs, stepping closer and ...well she's not exactly dancing, but she's not standing still either. Just kinda swaying and tapping her foot to the beat. Sorta. ]

Not much - I've been keeping busy. Seems like that's all I've been doing lately. My stepsister had a jacuzzi installed in the bathroom.

A jacuzzi? [Buuuh-link.] Can she do one for me?

[This time she's, like, 99% joking...]

I don't even know who did the one at my house. I suppose you could always ask her - send her a message on the NV.

[She laughs.]

That was mostly a joke, but I might take her up on that one day.

All right. [ She grins. ] How have you been though?I haven't talked to you in a while.

[ She hasn't talked to a lot of people, actually. ]

[And at that question... you know what? She gives up. Her arms go down to her sides now and she sidles past Ella, motioning for her to follow her off the dance area and somewhere way, WAY quieter.]

Sorry about that. I dunno why I thought trying to keep a conversation going that close to the speakers was a good idea. [There's a table nearby, and she goes to sit down.] I've been good, all things considered. But I think 'all things considered' is normal for here by now.

[ Laughing, though the sound is probably drowned out by the noise of she next song, Ella followed after the other woman to join her at a table. ]

You weren't doing too badly- don't be so hard on yourself, Rochelle. But in all seriousness, I'm glad you're doing all right. I haven't been able to keep in touch with everyone that I want to.

[She propped her hands up on the table and cocked her head slightly at Ella.]

It's a little lighter since I quit here and was hired on by Byakuya. But i have other responsibilities outside of work that keeps me busy.

Oh, you're in the media right? Have you heard the radio drama Love is Over?

[At the next question she paused, before giving a short shrug.] I normally don't pay attention to them but... maybe? Why?

I'm Byakuya's personal assistant by day Vigilante by night and I work at Purgatory during the evening shift part time.

In between serving my lady [ This is uttered under her breath. ]

It's ... rather special. You should give it a listen sometime. It's one of those shows that's just so -awful- it's fascinating, and really hooks you in. Hattie is a huge fan.
