She scowled, trying to slip out of his grip. She didn't want him that close and she almost had the mind to pull out her gun just to hit him with it. As it was, one of her claws nearly reformed in an attempt to spook him off of her.

"I don't have a sob story. Everyone else does."

And she hated that. She couldn't do anything without losing the respect of those around her.

"I just respect life more than murderers do."
