Who:
fidele Chane and
vinovidivici Claire.
When: Backdated to February 14th, following all this
Where: Versaid Park
What: Not so much drawing the boundaries as embracing them.
Warnings: None
[ I don't think it will change what matters the most.
The confidence she had felt earlier is starting to ebb with every minute longer she stays alone, waiting on the bench at the edge of the park. At the time it was as if Yako understood her situation exactly when she gave that reassurance-- but, reflecting on it, didn't she assume that their relationship was something... else? And the same with Maya?
Rather than shedding light on this tangle of terms and definitions and what can't be expressed by pure feeling, Chane nearly feels more confused than ever. Rereading the text exchanges on the pages of her NV don't resolve it either. She does not consider labelling anything in Claire's presence, so why is there the need when others ask...?
As though it will conceal her from the world, to give her a few moments longer to think, she buries her nose in her NV, eyes shut. 'Significant other' isn't the correct term after all-- she cannot even wish it was, if it means exchanging what they have now. ]
