If he did turn on the light, he'd notice that Tim had thrown the blanket over his head to block out the light. He hated that feeling, when the lights were turned on after being dark for so long, and it hurt your eyes at first.
"I'm okay," He said, a little muffled from the blanket, and he slowly pulled it back down so he could see his friend. His face was drawn and pinched, dark circles under his eyes. Otherwise, he was fine.
