The only other thing he usually did was end up on his own, usually up somewhere high. That didn't have much to do with the scythe though. It was just how he coped with things.

He hoped that Hinamori would simply accept it and not need to ask more questions. Explaining more than that would take awhile, since it was complicated and involved more than just what the scythe was. It involved the entirety of the Barsburg religion and who Frau was.
