[Closed] A fight to remember
Who: Gaara and Scathach
What: Sparring in the forest
When: Following this conversation
Warnings: fighting. It's gonna happen
Gaara arrived in the forest, eyes scanning the area without much concern. He was waiting for his opponent, senses open in case she attempted some form of sneak attack. His sand would undoubtedly protect him in either case, but she might wish to fight without the use of powers. Not that he would care what she wanted if she started throwing knives at his back.

The redhead doesn't purposely walk loudly, but she also makes no attempt to approach completely silently either. Really, she sounds like a normal human. It's an art she's perfected. When she steps into the small clearing, she smiles at him, not letting her teeth show. She's small--short and scrawny, peppered with freckles. And with her hair cropped as it is, well. She casually and silently takes note of the similarities.
Her voice holds a slight Irish lilt. "You were early."

"I hoped it wouldn't matter much." since the only reason it would matter would be if one of them was hoping to plot a trap.

"It doesn't." This time. She lets a few seconds pass. "Whenever you're ready." As she'd decided--informal.

Ooc: I should say, I'm afraid Gaara is going to end up dropped. I just haven't been doing... anything with him, since he got apped.

[ooc; ah, that's a shame! we can continue here if you'd like, but i'd also understand if you'd prefer to stop. i'm alright with either option.]

ooc: I'm good with continuing. :)
I like him well enough, I just... haven't had any drive.

"You're learning," he remarked, growing more wary.
