one with it

Who: Helen Magnus & John Winchester
When: April 19, late
Where: A seedy bar
Summary: A wish for distraction and an attempt to ignore things don't go well with sins ( especially when that's what you're trying to ignore )
Warnings: Will edit

Helen felt out of place, and more than that she looked out of place, but she didn't want familiarity, not tonight; she didn't want to be noticed, she didn't want to be comfortable, not when she didn't feel it. Her mind was too full and she was unable to find any sort of clarity in it. She was confused, conflicted, and not only in her mind but in what she felt also, and she couldn't push any of it away ( particularly not when the sins were adding to those feelings, not that she knew that ).

Ordering a glass of wine she'd sat at a booth just off the side of the base, out of sight but not too far - she may not wish to be known but she didn't really want to be alone, either. The wine wasn't particularly too nice but it was something, and she wasn't in the mood to be fussy about it either ( if she was she could have just gone home, except home was the last place that she wanted to be ). So she sat, watching any that entered, trying to focus on them rather than herself, occasionally sipping from her glass.

Just what was she doing?
