That's true, isn't it? I really like daffodils too. They always remind me of my best friend Hitsugaya-kun, because that's the flower that's supposed to symbolize his division, back home. [She walks around the table and picks up a handful of daffodils.] Here. Have a seat. You can make a basket while we talk.

[Hinamori does the same, setting down on one of the stools set near the table and taking a basket in her hands, beginning to pick flowers off the table and arrange them into a tiny bouquet.]

[Seras smiles at her, what a nice woman. She takes a seat as she's bid and a basket.] Thanks, my name's Seras.

[Hinamori smiles in return.] I'm Hinamori. So are you from around here? [She deliberately leaves the question open-ended, to start conversation. She might be asking whether Seras is a native or a Newcomer, whether she lives nearby, or where she came from originally. But there's no real point to the question—it's just genuine interest in the woman sitting next to her.]

Pleasure to meet you. I'm a Newcomer, I live just in Sector Seven with some friends.

Ah, me too, but in Sector 5—also with friends. [A smile.]

People from your world? [She enquires, smelling one of the flowers.]

Yup! My best friend from home and Ca—Captain Kuchiki, one of the... captains in the organization I was in.

Oh me too! [She looks interested.] What organisation is that?

The Gotei 13. It's... I suppose it's like the human military, except that we fight spirits instead of... wars. [A small frown comes over her face. It made her sad to think of human wars. And that bloodshed. And killing.]
