Su casa es mi casa

Who: Lieselotte Achenbach ([personal profile] crimsonpuppeteer ) and Larry Butz ([personal profile] laurice )
When: Monday
Where: Larry's house
Summary: A new lady enters Larry's life. Sadly, she isn't exactly dating material.
Warnings: None!

It'd been some time since Lieselotte had found herself  drawn to this city. During her time here, she had never really settled down much. She'd found herself frequently spending her evenings in the homeless shelter. She'd had no real privacy there, and the thought of living in such a place made her feel rather pathetic. If she had her assets from home, she'd have purchased a place for herself a long time ago. But here, she had next to nothing. She hadn't earned a single cent since arriving here. She was certain her 'services' would be needed in a city like this. But as long as she didn't have any stability, no place to settle down, she could never open up shop. She'd constantly be just a wandering orphan girl. She had made precious few friends, and even less money, so she would have to make things work her own way.

Her idea was a rather simple one.  She had selected a neighborhood that seemed 'safe', and spent the last few days observing the people moving around it.. She had to leave before it got too dark,  or run the risk of being caught in the Darkness, but slowly she began to take note of the people that called the area home. She'd made no efforts to conceal herself, but had brushed aside attempts the residents had made at conversation. After a few days, she had a few 'candidates'. These were people that seemed less then threatening to her, people that while she may not trust she also did not have to be afraid of. By the end of the day, she'd made her choice.

Now all that she had to do was wait.  Wait for a time when her 'candidate' was not home, so she could make her move. It wasn't exactly a complex plan. She merely intended to enter her target home when its owner wasn't around. She didn't have a key, but she didn't need one. She had her own way of getting through locked doors.

Cupped inside one of her hands was something that would likely shock anyone that saw it. At a casual glance, it would as if she was holding the Darkness itself in the palm of her hand. This was not the case, clearly. It was daylight and the darkness wasn't exactly something someone played with like silly putty anyway. Her plan was rather simple. That little ball of darkness was alive. All she needed to do was get it inside and opening the door would be easy. She could simply do it from the inside.  Doing that would prove to be no difficult task. She walked right up to the front door of her selected candidate's home, and set the inky ball of darkness down next to the door. It immediately flattened, looking like nothing more then a shadow. With it in place, she knocks softly on the door. Wake up Larry, you've got a little guest!
