Who: The Teen Titans
When: Friday, May 11th, 5:00pm.
Where: Starting at Titans' Headquarters in Sector 11, going all over the city.
Summary: The second practice run for the Teen Titans, and the third meeting.
Warnings: Possible language.

Red Robin had done something a little different for this practice run. Last time, the group had been split into pairs. This time, the group had been split into three groups, and would have to learn how to work with more people then usual. Even those who weren't strictly fighting could participate in this, since it was more about working together, and having fun, then actual fighting.

The whole thing was simple, really. Lucky for Red Robin, he had a few friends who said they would help out with this; namely Superman and Superboy. Both of them pretty much invincible, which would help with the groups they were up against. While powers had been strictly prohibited, Red Robin didn't expect them to follow by the rules all the time. Which was why, if anyone was caught using their powers to end the game quickly, and by themselves (all powers could be used as a team), they would have the duty of cleaning the Titans' Warehouse.

Without powers. And the warehouse was pretty big.

The Groups:

Superboy Group - Oathkeeper, White Justice, Sugar Plum, and new guy of unknown superhero yet (Sora, Momo, Ahiru, and Jake English)
Superman Group - Cambion, Occupational Hazard, Darkbeat, Blood Rose, and Ikol (Christina, Hiccup, Joe, Amy, and Loki)
Red Robin Group - Grim Couture, Imagine Breaker, Mugetsu, and Squinky (Kanaya, Touma, Ichigo, and Guybrush)

All the groups needed to do was snatch the yellow flags off of the person they were in pursuit of. One team would go after Superboy, another would go after Superman, and the third would go after Red Robin. There were enough ribbons for each person in the group; if there were five people in the group, there were five ribbons on the person running from them. Each team needed to get all of the flags before they could finish. Once they had them all, they were done, and could retire to the warehouse for the meeting.

The meeting is mostly covering old territory, but there are a few new things on the agenda, namely letting the group know about costume help, training times to learn the computer system, and starting real patrols, like a real superhero group should do.

Deadly seriously, actually. This was something important; they were going to help save lives doing this. Save lives, and help the city. There was so much in the creed that Tim believed in, and he wanted to share that with others.

And Blaine would have an integral part of that, now. Tim knew he could trust him to keep his secret, and now he was trusting him to keep all of their secrets. Tim knew he could handle it.

Though he did always wonder how someone thought of him when they saw him for the first time in costume.

"You get to make up your own, if you want. I could come up with something, but it's more personal, when it's your own," Red Robin's lips deepened at the corners. "You can take some time while I show you around, to think about it."

"I'd like that," Blaine said. "I'd like to get a closer look at the computer too. You can explain anything I need to know."

"Yeah, I agree. Coming up with your own name...people get hinky when you use a name that's already been used," Tim nodded. He remembered the fights for the Batman name, the scar on his throat from a previous Robin. Another Robin who wanted to kill him for the name. The different Batgirls, the Flashes. Names meant a lot to people.

"Come on. The computer system is pretty simple," He walked over to the computer screens on the wall, a large keyboard set up in front of a comfortable looking chair. "Your password, the first time, is your codename and the number one. You can change it after that, but it'll log you on after you put a codename onto the tablet from before."

Blaine raised his brow a bit. He didn't have a codename yet. He'd have to think of one. "For now can we just use my real name? I'll change it right away."

"Yeah. We're just going to go with Blaine One, okay?" Tim nodded, typing in the password. The screen went blue for a moment before it resolved, and the icons for the different spots came up on the screen. At the top, there were five people in small boxes with their name in text below them.

"First, the five faces? They're the top five most wanted in the port. Just in case they're seen, anywhere. And this icon on the left is the police scanner. It's just for the voice, all other networks are in the icon below it."

Blaine nodded though for now it was mostly just listening and watching as Tim explained. He tried to remember all that Tim told him so that he could do this on his own.

"This is how you contact the other Titans," Tim reached out and clicked on the big yellow icon in the shape of a T. It brought up a map of the city, with pulsating dots on it. With another click, it could zoom in, making the map bigger and showing off the streets.

"You find the one you want by hovering over the circles. Then you click on them, and it brings up a connection to their communicator, which you can then talk to them or text them, through. It also helps, since it'll show you which Titan is closest to another and can help out, if they need it."

"Not so complicated so far," Blaine admitted. "I mean, there's an app like this that lets you track your friends. It's not so different from that..."

"It's based off of that, but don't tell anyone. I want it to make it look like I actually put some work into it," Tim smirked a little. "It's all done with a click. You can sit back, put some pizza in the microwave, and monitor everything. You don't have to watch it all the time, but I suggest not having the TV on until you know you can manage both."

"Your secret is safe with me," Blaine promises, smiling back at Tim. He nodded a bit at the as he focused on the monitor. He wanted to get used to the layout and the way it felt to sit here. "It might be a while before I let myself have distractions."

Except maybe the occasional text to Kurt...

"Good to hear. It's really a pretty simple system. I know a lot of people here don't come from the same kind of worlds in terms of technology, so this was created to just. Make it easy on everyone. You should have seen Oracle's set up, back home, though. She was amazing. Still is amazing. I'm not even half as good at technology like she is," Tim gestured for Blaine to take a seat, see how it all felt.

"There's a girl who'll be learning the ropes, too. She's our team medic, even though she's still learning. Her name is Sugar Plum, so just. Watch out for her."

"Are you allowed to tell me who she really is or is it all code names?" Blaine asked, arching his brow a bit.

"I think code names are important, just to be safe. But when you see her, if she decides to tell you her real name, then that's fine. Plus, you might know her already. It's not like the newcomer community is very large," Tim gave a small smile. Blaine would know who she really was.

Blaine nodded at that. "Okay. I'll let you know as soon as I settle on my own name, just to be safe."

"Sounds good. I'll let you check things out right now, I need to go check on a few things. And a few people. Call me on the communicator if you need me, okay?" Tim brought out the bright yellow communicator, a black "T" on it.
