Who: Soma and Creepy!Alucard. The rest of Hellsing house is free to chime in.
When: Thursday evening, after Soma's conversation with Genya.
Where: Hellsing House.
Summary: Soma finally takes Alucard up on the offer to live with him, and maybe even get a better handle on his powers.

Soma was slowing down his brisk walk the closer he got to the place Alucard told him about, the faint prodding of doubt starting up in the back of his brain. He was still mad after his conversation with Mr. Arikado; seriously, how dare he question him handling himself against vampires! He was the one that trekked through the entirety of Dracula's Castle, with bare minimal assistance from him or Yoko. He went through dungeons full of skeletons, libraries with witches and ninja maids, underground water falls where the water itself tried to attack him, and oh right, let's not forget the Chaos Realm where he fought against the embodiment of chaos itself. Sure he had full access to his powers back then, but there were hardly any souls that he used that modified his strength; all that hacking and slashing with the swords he found around the castle did most of that. And he had the nerve to act like he couldn't handle himself against some vampires in a club? What the hell?!

When he came in sight of the Hellsing house, though, most of his rage fizzled out, and he was again faced with this new dilemma: learning how to control himself as Dracula... from Dracula himself. That wasn't potentially world ending or anything, but still, the thought of what happened at Halloween never happening again... it was too good to pass up.

He stood just a few feet away from the door, pacing, trying to decide... before he finally bit the bullet and ran up to the door to knock on it before he lost his nerve.

Soma let out an exasperated noise, trying not to look as freaked out as he felt. He had to ask...

"Yeah... sure..." he murmured. Not like he was having second thoughts already or anything.

Alucard likes that noise, and he can tell Soma is freaked out, but the boy is making an effort to hide it so Alucard will blithely play along so as not to crush this creature's fragile self esteem. But he does put out his hand as though he expects Soma to hold it.

"Well?"

Oh right; like he was seriously going to hold Alucard's hand. Even if he didn't look like that, it was a cold day in hell before that was happening. Soma rolled his eyes, before marching the rest of the way to the door and pushing his way into the house.

The vampire huffed. Loudly. And followed Soma into the house. "Walter made up a room for you. I shall take you there. I'm rather sure the other inhabitants will greet you at their leisure. Master Abraham will be most interested, I'm sure."

Alucard leaned in, dropping his voice to a stage whisper, "Be afraid of him." And grinned.

"Walter?" he asked, curious. Wait, didn't he talk to someone named Walter through the NV? He wondered if it was the same--

And Soma felt something like an Une crawling up his spine when Alucard did that. Why did he have to be creepy?! He was already creepy without opening his mouth! He didn't need to be more creepy!

"Why?"

"Walter, my hunting partner," Alucard replied and began up the stairs, leading Soma to his room. "Be afraid because... he is a human who hunts monsters. A boy. We shall allow you to watch us spar sometime and then you will ... understand."

"Um... right," Soma replied. He wasn't completely sure how to take that, but "worried" was definitely one of the things he was considering. "Who else lives here?"

Topic change, topic change!

"Master Abraham, Jack Seward, My future master Integral, my fledgling Seras Victoria- call her Police Girl- and ... possibly others, I forget," He didn't really, of course, he was just a bit of an ass.

Soma gave him an exasperated look. "How could you forget who you live with?"

Alucard only tips his head and looks at him from the corner of his eyes, "You do not?" And leads Soma to a simple, but tidy room with fresh linens on the bed. "Here. You may bring your things as needed."

Soma rolled his eyes skyward, questioning again why he decided this was a good idea. Maybe someone else in this house was actually sane. He could only hope.

He glanced into the room, nodding. Hell, it was a room. It would be perfect if there was just a cot on the floor.

"Thanks. I'll start after school tomorrow."

Soma would find himself gravely disappointed. Everyone in this house was set in their own sort of madness. Even Jack, in Alucard's opinion.

"School?" Alucard tipped his head and smiled faintly. "Of course. School."

Soma raised an eyebrow at that reaction, giving Alucard a curious look.

"Is there a problem with that?
