I Run They Run Everybody Run Run
Who: Toothless & OPEN~!
When: Tuesday morning to afternoonor whenever he's dragged home or something
Where: Sector 4, generally around the apartment building Hiccup & Astrid are staying
Summary: Bored dragon + cramped quarters = TIME TO EXPLORE! 8D
Warnings: --
Notes: Separate threads if you please~!
Stay, Toothless.
It was always the same since he'd gotten here and been herded to the little space that Hiccup and Astrid apparently lived in. Sure, it was fine for a while. The bed was nice and comfortable, but he wasn't allowed on it when they were around. There wasn't much room to move about otherwise, and after a week it was probably a miracle anything in the apartment was still in one piece between dragon and the viking girl.
But when no one was home, what was he to keep himself occupied with?
The door had given way with only a bit of applied pressure. It now lay perpendicular to the door frame, hinges hanging uselessly in place. Beyond, the lonely hallway with its weird, musty smells. Figuring his way around the building's hallways was an adventure in itself, and perhaps not without startling a few residents, Toothless finally found an open window that promised an escape- if only it had been wide enough for him to fit through.
He'd tried his best, but small as he was, he was still too large to get out. Having a saddle strapped to your back didn't help to slim you down much, either. Eventually he had to resort to finding that cramped passageway that Astrid had used to lead him up in the first place. It certainly beat going inside the cage-room with the sliding metal doors, though.
After so much work, it was well worth it for the dragon to be outside where he could stretch his wings out, and while the air wasn't necessarily fresh as he knew, it was better than nothing. But now that he was outside, what should he do?

She has only recently acclimated to such magic existing.

The gasp draws Toothless' attention, his ear flaps perking as he turns his head to look over towards the woman. She looks familiar...

She smiles and clicks her tongue at the creature, approaching slowly with caution but not fear, her palm out. "Ye've found yourself homebound with Astrid, I see." She hasn't met Hiccup yet, but knows the girl.

There's a familiar gesture. His eyes fix on her hand, then flick up to glance at her face and back again.

But then, just a few feet ahead of him, what wandered into his view but a familiar dragony form. Well. He could spare a few moments for a dragon, right? That wouldn't hurt anything. It wasn't like he was in a hurry.
A quiet clearing of his throat to get the dragon's attention. A calm and relaxed stance to assure the dragon that he had no threatening intent. One didn't just up and offend such a creature. That would have been supremely disrespectful.

Ah, another of the faces he'd seen on his little fish. This one hadn't been loud and obnoxious either.
Very slowly, he started to slink towards Hitsugaya, curious.
no subject
"It's okay." Meaning both that he had no intention of being a threat, and that Toothless was allowed to examine him to satisfy his curiosity.
Hitsugaya didn't have this much patience with a lot of creatures, but dragons were one of them. He'd held a fascination with them even before his zanpakutou spirit had proven to be one.

Although small, the dragon got the impression that the little human wasn't some pushover. There was something about him, definitely. But he wasn't trying to be imposing or anything. His strangely expressive face seemed to settle into something less cautious as he came around Hitsugaya's front again, pausing within easy reach to see what he'd do.

When Toothless came back around to his front, he carefully reached out his hand, palm turned upward to further show a lack of aggression on his part. He would leave where things went next up to the dragon; he certainly wasn't going to touch him without permission. That was rude.

Shortest Thread Ever?
The dragons??
Hattie came to an abrupt stop upon seeing Toothless. Her lower lip quivered. Finally, she took a deep breath, shrieked at the top of her lungs, then raced off in the opposite direction!
Never. Jogging. Outside. Again. EVER.
XD;
Toothless watched as the woman ran off. Humans. Huh.
Hattie is such an embarrassment. :D
It... is a dragon isn't it? She'd heard about them, but never seen one ... and what she heard about them wasn't always complimentary. Still, she paused her motions, turning her gaze to watch the escapee enjoy his own freedom.
Hehehe
And then quite abruptly, the dragon paused. That feeling, it was hard to ignore. He turned his head, staring right over at the girl with wide, curious eyes.

But those stories were silly...and he had a saddle. Or harness at least. "You ...must have a rider." She mused, partially to herself. That or someone tried to ride him and got un-dragoned. But...let's not consider that possibility.

He was, however, somewhat curious as to the thing the girl held. Ella hardly seemed a threat, and it wasn't long before the dragon began to approach, his eyes shifting between the mandolin and the girl as though he were gauging if she would run or not.
no subject
"... Hey there." The dragon seemed kind of interested in the instrument in her lap, and Ella glanced down at it. "... do you like music?" Nice dragon, good dragon.
Watching Toothless as much as he watched her, she placed her fingers across the strings of the mandolin and plucked a few chords.

"Wh - Krypto!" Conner followed after his dog and it really shouldn't have surprised him when he saw Krypto hovering over and barking at a dragon. Well, at least it looked like a dragon.

A low growl rumbled from his throat, a warning sound. Back off, pup, if you know what's good for you!

She didn't expect to find an escapee dragon on her way home though. Only a few blocks away and in the bright daylight, it was hard to not notice the dark scales. The only dragon she knew about was Mushu (and Maleficent's dragon form, but she was more witch than dragon), but that was barely a fair comparison given how big Toothless is.
She's startled, but not enough to drop her drink. Instead, she's glued to her spot, just cautiously watching the creature.

His ear flaps perk then, and he turns his head, looking at the blond girl some distance away. No, it wasn't Astrid, he realized with mild disappointment.
