Who: Selim Douchelord Bradley AND YOU?
When: post-siren time, from around 5/16 to 5/20
Where: NEAR, FAR, WHEREVER YOU ARE provided that wherever your character is is within about six blocks of the Tower Apartments.
Summary: Pride is getting the lay of the land! He is doing this with tentacles.
Warnings: I GET TO USE THE OTHER HALF OF MY ICONS AND BOY ARE THEY TERRIBLE
[They unfurl from his own shadow against the yellow light of his room, slender little black tendrils leaking from the barely-cracked window, trailing down the side of the building like ivy until they can thicken and curdle in the dim light of distant streets and alleyways. He's aware of how few people will be out, of course, but surely there's nothing wrong with exercising caution. Do anything else and he'll become careless, and then it won't be long until they're tracking the shadows currently spooling out from Selim Bradley's starter apartment into the night. Pride won't have the chance to do this unmonitored for long; before he trades in his starter apartment for, presumably, the kindness of strangers, this is his last opportunity to exploit it to the fullest.
While his container sits motionless near the window, Pride's true form is busily navigating the immediate area surrounding his current residence. He mostly stays high and tenuously-spread, though every now and then there'll be a particularly large clump, studded with red-pupilled eyes, in places where he assumes there'll be little human presence but enough inhuman presence to lay out bait--half of the point of this is to see how the Darkness and its denizens function, after all. But for the most part it's a strange out-of-place shadow on the side of a building, something black curling up around a lamppost, the crawling feeling of being watched from an alleyway only to glance in and see more than two eyes looking back. He's attentive, he's curious, and he moves far too fast; worst of all, he's getting rather hungry.
That last point stands despite the overriding stench of decay! Holy shit, having an enhanced sense of smell is terrible right about now.]

Oh my. Should I have offered you some?
[The voice is clearly coming from the shadow, but from where? Certainly not the mouth, which is still chewing on the remains of its feast. WHO THE FUCK EVEN KNOWS.]
It's not to most people's taste.

My tastes are rather peculiar.
[ A soft voice that carries, his tones like age-old gravel. He gestures at the remains of the fallen beasts. ]
People are more fragile than these.

ANYWAY, a few of those shadows swoop in closer, almost as though he's getting familiar. In reality, of course, he just wants to see if there's any way to push his mysterious companion's buttons.]
But that type is much less easy to come by at a time like this.

It is their nature.
[ His eyes gleaming an eerie white, the smile doesn't falter. The air around him thickens briefly, crackling with unseen power -- not so much a warning but a statement. He has no fear. ]
What manner of creature devours whatever it sees?

[~AS THAT OTHER ONE~, he wants to say, but a.) nobody knows Gluttony here and b.) "that other one" is inside him right now.]
